Open Air Theater HPS, Begumpet

Nestled within a natural valley on the HPS Begumpet campus, this open air theatre is one of those rare projects where the landscape does as much work as the architecture. Rather than imposing a form onto the site, the design works with the gentle depression of the terrain — layering seating into the contours of the land and letting the surrounding trees and rock outcrops become part of the experience.

The stage is framed by a composition of angular, sculptural walls that create a dynamic backdrop — bold enough to hold its own against the natural setting, yet restrained enough not to compete with it.
